Do NOT call them on the phone, ever.. its pointless, you get nowhere, and all they do is violate the FDCPA right and left, since they figure we're all stupid.

Stop that check, and send these scum WhyChat's Cease and Desist letter for expired SOLs.

You don't OWE this any more.. they CANNOT make you pay it, they can't sue you (legally). They can't do anything to you for stopping the payment either.. so if they scream and bitch (before they get your C&D letter) about passing bad checks, well they're dead wrong !
