depends on certain things in my opinion .. 1st off IF your in a community property state ( such as california nevada arizona louisanna oregon washington state wisconsin texas & 1 other which escapes me at the moment , theres 9 total ) i dont see it coming off his reports but i could be wrong on that & even IF it does come off & if its alot of money OR their bored they'll come after your husband for the debt becouse in comm. property states its now legally his debt also .. if your NOT in a community property state id write to Sears & the credit bureaus where this account appears & i threatten to file a lawsuit IF its not removed within 30 days from their reciept of the letter , send the letter certified return reciept ( costs maybe 5 bucks each ) requested .. i mean ya gotta be sure he was not on the credit app. as co signer or as a joint account or your wasting your time but if not go for it cause i think your right ... kelly .......
