well mom , theres different theories on this & thats just life but the way i look at this is IF i were in your position & i had all excellant credit EXCEPT for this 1 "little" 600 account well me personally , since its just 2 years old ( forget the SOL is only 1 more year thats not the point here cause were talking really no money ) this means that 1 bad mark on your credit reports will remain for 5 more years & that i'd not want if i could SOMEHOW for like 300 or so bucks stop that .. you'll get some that will say hell with it becouse the SOL is up in 1 year and you'll never be sued and MAYBE their right becouse id also bet you will NOT be sued over a few bucks like this account is really but if me id TRY somehow to get ahold of them & offer the crooks like maybe 300 bucks BUT ONLY if they agree to delete the entire trade line on all 3 reports by agreeing to this IN WRITING & also stating IN WRITING they can not & will not sell the balance EVER .. if you guys can agree on this "TO ME" ITS WORTH A 300 GAMBLE for a clean report AND good credit .. id never EVER EVER suggest settling with ANY collector over maybe 500 bucks EVER because their mostly all crooks but like i say this accounts still within SOL & IF this is my only bad mark , well too me its worth 300 or 400 bucks , just my opinion though ....... good luck , kel .....
