If your Mtg. Co. is using a collection agency then they are subject to the FDCPA and can be requested in writing to stop calling you, and only communicate by mail.

HOWEVER, since this is a mortgage, and apparently with a sub prime lender, you should be very careful about what you do.If there are extra fees and charges being tacked on, if they have an acceleration clause etc. You should contact your State's consumer affairs dept. and get some help.
