saving postage?

Years ago, I kept a troublesome family member for several months. He had tons of collections letters that came to my address. The letters came to us for years after this person went on his merry way. Now I am having financial trouble myself and I have only received one letter in about eight months, but I get calls everyday..sometimes they pick an hour in the am and then again from 8:00 pm to 8:45pm and call every five to ten minutes....I assume they are saving postage this way?
