I received a message my answering machine from an attorney regarding my way past due Providian account. Last payment was 4/02. Should I call him back, or wait for him to send something in the mail? He is in NY, I am in SC - can he file suit, or does it have to go to a local attorney? There's no way I can make payments as I've been unemployed for a year now. thanks.
