I think I posted a warning about this about 6 months ago, but it bears repeating. If you are contacted by the creditor on an EXISTING Florida judgment filed before Jan.2001.
DO NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY There is a new Fl. lien law, they must refile the old judgment by Oct. 13, 2003 or the existing judgment is LAPSED. In order to refile, they need your current address and ss#.
