If they have not filed against you for the deficiency, ($15,000 DEFICIENCY ??) they are past the time limit for doing so.

What does your credit report show?
Go to creditnet.com they have excellent advise at cleaningup your credit reports and increasing your scores.

Make sure you thoroughly read the first 3 posts in that forum.
