LadynRed The CA got my bank information from the original debtor who sent the Return NSF checks to the CA. The CA sent me the usually letters to pay. Last week they debited my checking account for the original amount of the checks, then couple days ago they took our their (CA) fees for each check. These debits came directly from the CA , not my bank. My bank already charged my their return check fee when the check was originally presented for payment( 1, 2 sometimes 3 times). I did contact my bank and told them these charges were not authorized. They filed a dispute but in the mean time other checks I've written are coming into my account and now there isn't enough money so now those checks are being returned with NSF fees on top of NSF fees.. a never ending cycle... I have also putt a stop payment on all future deductions from the CA. In the mean time Im just waiting to see what the heck the bank is gonna go. And believe me i have a log going on every fee that I have accrued because of the CA debiting my account without my authorization. So far over $850.00 in bank fees NSF charges ... thanks for the great suggestions.
