Yep, the identified themselves. I have my phone line set up to reject any callers who block caller ID, so in order to leave a message they had to call with a real number, which is stored in my answering machine along with the message. Not only did they threaten to "have me arrested in front of my family for credit card fraud" they also called me a "pathetic lazy person who won't take responsibility for your credit card debt" I have it all on tape. It's pretty sickening- I have to assume this is how they treat everyone they attempt to get money from. These people are lower than low. They are subhuman scum. I guess they figure no matter how much they break the law, they can only be fined $1000 so why should they care? ------------------------ Did they actually identify themselves AND leave a threatening message? In my experience with NCO, they absolutely would not ID themselves and they always called on lines that blocked the caller ID.
