Sorry to repost but I am desperate here. I live in NY now. I used to live in GA and had a bank account. I sold someone a car and they paid by check. Once the money cleared within a weeks period I withdrew the funds. Well needless to say the checks were returned from the other parties bank. Now the amount of the check is on my credit report. The bank is Southtrust.How can I dispute this? Is it my fault that the other party did not have the funds?
