Most attorneys review the lawsuits prior to filing them. This is not a cheap process for them to sue you, so for some unknown reason, they think that you either have $$$ or have the ability to come up with some within the next 5-7 years so they can attach your wages.

If your situation is what you say it is, file pro per chapter 7 bankruptcy. Don't even bother wasting $$ on a bankruptcy attorney, you have no property, nothing to keep, nothing to hold on to. Even if your creditors are moronic enough to show up at your 341 hearing, what are they going to get? Zilch, but in 90 days they will get a case # and that will put a smile on your face knowing you don't have that debt anymore.

File now, don't waste anymore time, the longer you wait now, the longer it will be before you can get yourself re-established.
