I contacted the charge card company - they stated the account was in collections. I am not receiving any letters from the collection agency, they must be going to my ex-husband's address. The collection agency contacted me at work about a month ago regarding this account. I did get my credit report the other day and the account is not charged off. I thought the account charges off 180 days after non-payment. If its up to the charge card company to charge the account off, then why is it with the collection company then?
