If the last payment made on the charge card was September of 2002, wouldn't the charge off be next month (March 2003)?

I'm just concerned about this for the fact that I haven't received a letter from the collection agency. When I called the charge card company they said it was in collections and I did receive a call from the collection agency at work about a month ago.

I guess maybe I'm a little confused about all of this.
