threat to file a complaint

I received a call regarding an acount from caller representing "Camco". They advised a Citibank account was opened in 1982 or 1984. They offered no documentation. First they said account c/o in 1989, then said I had paid on it for 12 years. There is no record on credit reports back as far as 1997.....how do I deal with these people?
