Have you disputed this account to the CRA as"not mine" or as never billed for this, never owed this amount to this creditor.
If you pay it,no matter WHAT you want the CA to do, they will just reage it and show it as paid collection for another 7 years.

I bet this just popped up after you started looking for a mortgage.Sherman,Cavalry or Arrow?
