The account was charged off on 11/01/02, when it was bought by PCM. PCM reported it to the credit bureau on 01/01/03, so if it's been sold to Ravenwood, they sure didn't keep it long or try to collect it. I had found that white page listing for Gary Sadler, but nothing under attorneys or anything. It's that Lebanon Pike address, cause it's the same address and phone number he gave on the paper for his law office. So if the guy IS an attorney, he obviously works out of his house! I had thought about the major purchase thing as far as it being stated as secure. I knew Sears did that, but didn't know about Circuit City. I've heard of Sears repossessing old tires! Anyway, get this, the paper that Sadler guy sent me had $2800 added to my balance for "attorney fees". When I sent his the validation of debt request, I added that I'd like to know by what authority he took it upon himself to add this, as I've had no judgment brought against me. Real sleazeball huh?
