Whychat, I have been paying below min. payments to the oc for the last 6 months..I have this week rec. letter from oc. saying they had sold the acct. to Alegis lp, then i rec. letter form alegis, saying they had purchased it and i should send payments to them.. have had no phone calls from either..I assume oc charged off acct. then sold it to alegis..the oc wasted no time. now the alegis group has said i have 30 days to ask for verification..or they will assume the debt is mine. please tell me if i should still send the validation letter to Alegis lp..rrr..thanks
