Yes, you are better off letting them know where you live so that you will definitely get notice of any complaints filed against you.

You really don't want to look through the legal adverts every day to see if a complaint has been filed.

But if you send the C&D letter like Whychat said, then their only options are to "shut up or sue."

If they are going to sue, they are going to sue. But at least you can keep them from hounding you.

But it really is just better to let them know where to serve you if they are going to do that. That way, you can contest the case in court, rather then trying to vacate a default judgment.
