If you send the SOL letter to the CA it is a legal demand they stop all collection activities, including reporting to CRA's.

If they subsequently get a verification request from the CRA,they know they cannot collect anything from you, and they also know they MIGHT be sued for collection activities. SO, they have NO motivation to verify the account to the CRA.

NONE of my letters or suggestions come with ANY guarantee they will "work".

If they DO work, all I ask is that people send a contribution to one or the other of my favorite charities.(particularly "Kitty Angels" as they are in dire need),as are all the "no kill" shelters.
