I just talked to an attorney and she recommended I do BK because of the amount I owe - 100K (not all on one cc - highest amount on one is 15K). This was from a failed business venture. I guess I'm "judgement proof" - own nothing and plan to just marry my boyfriend and be a stay at home mom in the future - but she told me creditors could get a judgement against me and then renew and renew every ten years until they get something. Is this likely to happen? I was planning on laying low until my SOL is up and then clear my credit report after 7 years. Is she just trying to get 2K out of me? (My case has some issues with a cash advance, so I told her I'd feel better if I utilized an attorney.) Should I do BK? Thanks in advance, guys. My DOLA = August 2002
