I work for MBNA and I am wondering how your account got to Wolpoff & Abramson in the first place. We at MBNA go out of our way to give a credit card holder a chance to make payments on a credit card debt. We have a large selection of repayment plans and if one of ours does not fit your situation, we will work with you on a plan of your own that will fit your situation. The only way that an account usually makes it to an attorney is if the account holder is not making any effort at all to repay it. We have a 97% or better collection rate from our own efforts within MBNA. In order to work at MBNA, we have to show that we like people, and we have to use this in our jobs. It works wonders in our collection efforts.
