Capital One has been sending out "offers" that look more like real credit card offers than anything I've seen before. On the front of the envelope is printed "This is not a bill" All of the enclosed literature/disclosure looks like an application for a Capital One credit card. IT IS NOT!!! In the "finer" print is a reference to pay some debt that may even be past the sol. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS VERY CLEVER PRESENTATION. Of course, anyone who wants to use the offer as a way to pay a debt should do so. I am only warning those who aren't able to pay a past debt.
