In english it is basically saying negative info such as chargeoffs can only remain 7 years. I suppose you could do one for each report but I believe the fcra does not have the same restrictions as the fdcpa so you can get up to $1000 per violation. The problem with small claims sometimes is that magistrates(like mine with experian) just do not have a clue when it comes to the fcra and the fdcpa. Since this is an easy case I would really go to naca.net and find an attorney who specializes in this. Any good one will take your case on contingency because they know it is an easy one to win. Most good ones will give you the full award plus any other damages while just taking some nice huge attorney fees. I would really get your paper together and call today.
