Interesting thought. I hadn't heard about the revoked library card. I can readily see that a library extends "credit" by loaning its property. I just don't quite see that the school - a public one - could refuse entrance to a student for availing herself of the protection of bankruptcy. It feels like a punishment. I would think that if all fees and tuition were collected and the only cost that the student could incur would be parking violations the student should be admitted. However, I like your argument too. I can't say it's not reasonble but, I think I still like mine better. :-) I wonder if there's a "definitive" answer out there somewhere. JR
