They can serve you with whatever alternative service is available in your State, and get a default judgment against you.

Your best bet, IMO, is to be served, answer and appear for a mediated settlement.It is way past the time for dealing with Citi on YOUR terms.

If they get a default judgment against you they may be able to garnish your wages, when you go back to work,seize your car,and garnish your bank account.
