Did you perhaps use your old roomie as a reference on a credit app ? That may be where its coming from.

Anyway, they can only call a 3rd party for location information. Once they have it, they MUST stop harrassing anyone else. I'd tell you old roomie to send the cease and desist letter, and to file a harrassment complaint with the phone company.

How old is this debt anyway.. when did you last pay the original creditor ?
