You're right the sol for the deficiency in Ohio is 2 years. Are they claiming that you left the jurisdiciton of the state and therefore tolled the statute of limitations? Did you leave the state? Dispute the debt tell them "The time to collect on the deficiency expired on ___/___/1998. Two years after the court confirmed the sale."
