O.K.....it took some digging but here is what I think is going on. In November 2002, the creditors were really calling. I was living at my mom's at the time. She was getting tired of all of the phone calls. I knew she had made a payment for me around that time but I was not sure who she made it to or for how much. I called her and asked her to look back through her canceled checks. She found one dated August 15, 2002 to Chase Bank for $5.00. She just paid them so they would stop calling. So, the last payment was made on August 15, 2002 and it charged off on December 23, 2002. However, the last payment that I could find that I made was January 2002.
