If you sign up for on line PAYMENT- make sure you still get a paper mailed statement. You can pay several times a month rather than once a month. This will lower your interest costs somewhat in the long run, especially if you check your statements as they come out, before you receive them,and make the minimum payment RIGHT AWAY,then you can make additional payments over the next few weeks as your budget allows.
