I suggest you send a letter CRRR to the original creditor/auto dealership- State your problem, say that under the Mass. auto "lemon laws" you STILL have complete recourse to file against them for full reimbursement plus damages. State that you will consider WAIVING that right IF AND WHEN your credit reports show a complete PAID AS AGREED or total deletion of the entire account with a PURGING of the records. Say if this isn't done within the next 30 days, with confirmation to you of proper notification to ALL credit reporting agencies, you will start legal action under Mass. and Federal Statutes and file complaints with the Mass. Attorney General, the FTC and the BBB.
