You are being way too easy on them. I would immediately file a countersuit for as much as possible. You will file for violations of the fdcpa,fcra,defamation of character, slander, and intent to inflict emotional distress. First off, filing suit on a time barred debt is a violation of the fdcpa. see link below. also, they have reaged the debt which is a violation of the fcra. If you do your homework you will come out with a paycheck.
