Just recieved summons

To start with, tahnks for any help or advice that you give.
I have just recieved a summons from Household Finance on a non-secured personal loan, the account was opened in 7/95, last payment 1/99. I live in Florida. Male 4 children, apartment.
"Count 1" states that the loan agreement has been lost or destroyed and is not in the custody or control of the Plaintiff.
6. The Defendant executed a document which has been lost or destroyed and is not in the custody or control of the Plaintiff.
The Plaintiff took additional advances above the above the original credit limit (actually the limit was maxed, but because of late payments, the company advanced the payment for that month, puting it over the limit, thereby charging extra).
The debt is just over $8,000. They are also asking for interest and attorney fees.
Is there any help or in any direction you can point me.
