I just received a letter from a collection agency for an unpaid/closed credit card from 11 years ago! The details are divorce related. Anyway, at the time I was going to file for bankruptcy, but didn't follow through... I was wondering what legal rights they have against me after so many years without any contact whatsoever, plus interest has been added to the original principal (over$4,000) & this company is now tacking on their own interest rate of 12% per annum. Haven't the statutes of limitations run out on this debt? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Karen
