You need to contact the Federal Trade Commission right away and tell them everything that happened to you just as you told readers of this board. You need to tell them about all the illegal threats against you and your parents' property, this company is a continuous and ongoing stream of endless FTC violations. Contact also your state Attorney General and tell them about this.
Smash these soggy maggot-pumpkins back as hard as you can using every legal resource available to you. It's the only thing their dimwit, predatory reptile brains can understand.
CACV has a typically sleazoid history of breaking all the rules, run them through the google, you'll have lots of fun reading. Knowledge is after all power.
This scumpany is based out of Colorado. They got a big leg up when their competition, CFS went broke a few years ago. Their reputation stinks even amongst fellow scumbag collection agencies. The FTC needs to hear from you immediately. Call them, follow up in writing. Go to FTC.gov to get started. Bash these slimy little larvae, scrape them out of your life.
