My credit score and SOME DISPUTE ADVICE. HELP!!!!!!

I am trying to buy a house and they checked my credit. Well in doing this i found out that i had a lot of past due accounts and a morgage that were opened before i was 18 years old. well i went on equifax website to order a credit report and you know that you must verify identity before getting your report well of course because i had things on my credit that was not mine so i was unable to verify this, so i called equifax and tried to do this over the phone same outcome so the equifax rep tried to put it through on my credit card three more time after i got off the phone and now they have taken 50.00 of my pre-paid credit card that i did'nt even get a credit report for, but anyways can someone give me some advice on how to dispute items on credit and how to go about buying this house without letting those itms stop me.?
