Complaint with Ohio AG was worthless

I just got a response back from the Ohio AG concerning the complaint I filed against the CA lawyers. I sent the lawyer a letter telling them the account was SOL and they responded saying it was a contract in writing. I filed a complaint with the AG's office about the lawyer, the SOL and the lawyer basically still threatening to sue after being notified of the SOL. The AG office says that the information I sent was carefully evaluated, but there does not appear to be any violation of any consumer protection laws that they enforce. Also, if I wish to persue this that I should contact a private attorney.

Now, does this mean that they just don't bother with SOL cases and leave that up to the courts? That there was no violation because the lawyers hadn't actually filed at that time? Will the lawyer still receive a copy of the complaint and information? If he does, will he be able to use that against me in court by stating that the AG office saw no problem? I'm a bit concerned now about how this complaint could affect me when it's time for court.

Thanks!
