Your AG complaint should have NO bearing on any suit.

And.. as you've obviously read, a credit card is NOT a 'contract in writing' subject to the 15 year SOL. I think CA's pull this, especially in OH, because the laws seem ambiguous or conflicting. The TILA clearly defines cc's as open-ended accounts NOT written contracts. With the state statute for 'contracts not in writing' and the RISA that WhyChat referenced, along with the TILA to back up your defense, you should be able to prevail against the CA.
