I'll try and make this as short and as to the point as possible. Live in Missouri. Old Providian debt from May 2000 $1531.00 Wolpoff & Abramson tried to collect on this debt and after several communications with them, reporting them to every agency known for violations and then getting no response for my offers, looks like Providian has hired in Missouri law firm to collect the debt. Should I respond to this firm and let them know of the agreement that was suppose to happen with W&A, but because of their neglect to answers my letters it was never paid? Should I send them an offer letter with 1/2 the amount (which is what I originally sent to W&A)? I don't have the full balance, should I just send them a payment arrangment offer? I should have known that when I hadn't anything else from W&A that someone else would try and come and get Providians money. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!
