I just filed my SOL answer today based on Why Chat's site. According to the site NJ's SOL for open accounts is 6 yrs. Prior to recieving the summons, I sent the CA the debt validation letters of which they did no respond. However, the CA removed all reportings from my credit report and sent me a letter stating that the account is now closed in their office.

My question to Why Chat is, should I present the letter in court or can they use it against me in any way? The fact that they sent the summons dated the same date that I received the letter makes me think twice about using it in my defense.
