Sorry! I just read the newcomers note (lol) I am in Florida and the last payment I made to Providian was in August 2002. I knew I would not have any money until September and I was going to make arrangements with them to settle the account. I just want to know if I have the time to do that before they enter a judgement. They wanted $300 today and I dont even have $20! I explained tha to them and was told that they needed arrangements today and this weas the last stage of collection.
