Can anyone help with my questions? I'm in California and these credit cards had limits of only $250 - $400.
1) WHEN DOES THE SOL CLOCK START TICKING? Do I need to know the last time I used the credit card or how can I tell when the charge off date was. 2) I have several past due credit cards and want to be as pro-active as possible with these debts. I want to send a letter to stop these collections companies from calling me...I don't know who to send the letter to. Is it the original credit card or do I answer these collection calls and ask for their address? 3) I also want to send a letter to have these companies prove the debt is mine. Do I send this letter to the original credit card company? Thanks for the help.
