I live in Florida. I have a Judgment against me for $3750 that was filed in 1996. In Florida they can charge 10% annual IR, which I believe is compounded monthly back into the total owed, so it can add up fast, but. They cannot charge you overlimit or late fees. There are no late fees associated with Judgments. If you quit paying your worked out agreement with the attorney, he may be able to take your car, but he can't charge you a late fee, unless of course you signed some kind of contract with him that says you agree to pay a late fee if you miss a payment, but I doubt it.
