Question about OC and CA

I was looking over my CB "ouch" and I was wondering how I go about taking care of the CA once the OC seven years drop off. First of all I live in Oregon so I believe the the SOL is seven years.
The main question is. For example I have a Citibank card that the last time I was ontime on a payment was on 9/99. Now am I right by saying this should drop off my CB in 9/06? And than after 9/06 do I write all of the CA for this account to also fall off my account even though they say the reported date is later on? Please let me know. Also another question I have is I had a bottle water company sent me to a collection account. I have never gotten any notice from the CA but I see it on my CB. Now I NEVER signed anything with the bottle water company and at that any of the water recept's were signed by my wife in my name. Her handwritting is nothing like mine. Can I, should I dispute with the CA, for valdation, and if so what do they have to prove, to be a valid debt. Do they have to show a signature or do I have to go back to the OC to get that infomation? Please someone let me know. Thanks
