In ohio, when you repo a car you do not have to give notice...
however, once you repo the car, you must send via certified mail how much is owed to redeem the vehicle, where it is to be sold.. the minimum that will be accepted for the vehicle and so on... as a bank or finance institution, they cant just take the car, sell it when they please etc... consumer has 14 days to make good on the loan..
also after it is sold, consumer has to be notified where and when it was sold and for how much..
in ohio if they do not do this, the debtor is not liable for any deficiency and cannot be sued for the deficiency.
how many miles did the van have on it..
