Here is one more interesting twist. I received a letter called "attorney advertisement" from a lawfirm in St Pete on Aug. 5. Stating that a lawsuit had been filed in my county from NCO Portfolio Mgmt. They wanted to help me. So I went to the Courthouse to find out if it was true and never found the suit. But... when I received my Summons 2 days ago, it was dated and signed by the clerk of courts on Aug. 8th. How did that attny know of the suit before it was filed???? Maybe they are in business together.
