She was married and they had large amt's on their credit cards, enough to charge 2 cars (which they did) AFTER the divorce he filed bankruptcy. I will have to ask her if they had any agreement in the dicorve but that will not make any difference. I am just wondering how she can fix this so she can buy a car and fix her credit again. I guess the debt is showing on her credit reports probably as collections (and in large amounts) I am not sure if it says anything about bankruptcy on there. Can an ex file bankruptcy on joint cards without the other signer/authorized user's knowledge?
