Check the public records of the County you lived in at the time to see if their was a judgment filed against you.

Have you been contacted by a collection agency? Camco or Sherman or Arrow? They are infamous for buying up RECORDS,not the actual accounts of out of statute debts.

If so, send them a validation/cease and desist/dispute letter.
