You are half correct. The SOL to legally sue ran out in feb 2003. They can still legally collect. However, a simple cease and desist and notification the SOL ran out should do the trick. IT would be a collection agency that would come after you and not first premier(who stinks btw). We had them when we had no credit and started the building process and when we got a new card and canceled they got pissed and deleted the tradelines from our credit report. Considering they charge high fees to help build credit I found it pathetic they deleted them out of spite. Oh well I have credit enough to get a 3k citibank card now so screw em.
