Report them to the Federal Trade Commission, like I did. I understand that they've been fined over $300,00 by the FTC recently because of illegal business practices. My situation is that they are refusing to remove a derogatory item from my credit report which is over 7 years old and by law should have been removed.

The FTC (http://www.ftc.gov) even allows you to file a complaint online at their web site.

I reported them, and so should you.
